Adi Parashakti The original, primordial, vast, womb-energy of the universe.
Advaita Nonduality; a condition of consciousness which transcends multiplicity and apprehends the singleness of Being.
Ajna Chakra The eye which sees inwardly; the "third eye"; the cranial chakra which "sees" in meditation. See Chakra.
Amrita Literally, "immortality". It is the sweet, nectarous bliss that is born in perfect meditation. Also, it can refer to a special substance created in an enlightened human nervous system which creates Divine Intoxication; sometimes also referred to as Soma.
Amrita-Sahaja-Samadhi A phrase created by David, which he renders as, "Utterly relaxed and abiding as nectar-like Pure Consciousness."
Ananda Bliss, joy, satisfaction, contentment.
Avatara Literally, "descent," referring to a human, or even animal, birth that is actually Divine in origin; descending from God.

Bhakti Love or devotion. (See Parabhakti)

Chakra Wheels within the human bodies, subtle and gross, which distribute the flow of Shakti, the force of life/feeling/energy.
Chit Consciousness.

Darshan The sighting of the Ultimate Reality, the apprehension/cognition of Pure Consciousness, communicated in meditation or through touch, word, gesture, look, or even the odor of a Enlightened Master.
Devi Goddess, Shakti.
Dharma Action, lifestyle, or state of consciousness which promotes and upholds the inherent integrity of the Universal Consciousness.
Dhyana Meditation.
Diksha Initiation; prana-shakti transmission. Direct, tangible reception of the Grace-Field or of Spiritual Transmission; the Primordial Spiritual Power which issues out of an Enlightened Soul.
Divine Mother Goddess, feminine aspect of the Divine;Shakti.

Guru A spiritual Teacher or Master who radiates enlightenment.

Kali Literally means "black". An aspect of Devi in Her Fierce mood.
Karma Action; action's fruit; cause-effect relationship.
Kundalini The "serpent power" of individualized cosmic energy that awakens and evolves into full awakening. See Shakti.

Lakshmi Aspect of the Goddess Consciousness manifesting as wealth and abundance.

Lila the play of the universe; the activity of time and space viewed as inherently Self-arising; the uncaused, unceasing, spontaneously-arising activity of the One Universal Consciousness.

Meditation A state of spontaneous self-transcendence; experience of inner pure consciousness.

Nirvikalpa Samadhi The most profound meditative transcendence of the mind into its most prior, formless, Self Awareness (See Transcendental Consciousness), beyond time and space and duality.

Parabhakti Supreme Devotion.
Paramatman Supreme Self.
Parashakti Supreme, Pimordial Energy of the Universe.
Prana Breath, life, light, universal energy.
Prana-Shakti Activated transmission of breath/light (prana) and feeling/devotion (shakti).

Sadhana Spiritual practices which lead to enlightenment, awakening, or to the devotion/impulse to awaken; to practice spiritual techniques.
Sahasrara Chakra The "wheel" of spiritual energy which opens into complete and total self-transcendence at the top of the head. See Chakra.
Samadhi Union, true meditation, transcendence. David says, "The only samadhi truly worth dwelling upon is the one that lasts forever."
Samsara The phenomenal, perceptible world; that which can be tasted, touched, seen, heard, or smelled.
Samskaras a collection impressions stored deep within the mind; Vasanas
Saraswati The Goddess of learning and creative self expression.
Sat Existence, reality, truth.
Satchitananda Absolute-bliss-consciousness.
Satsang Association with Truth; a spiritual gathering. Exploring, through meditation and dialog, sublime Transcendental Awakening.
Shakti Primal Power; Energy or Force of the Divine; Goddess-consciousness; the energy which bestows spontaneous, profound meditation. (See Prana-Shakti, Darshan, Diksha.)
Shaktipat(a) The descent of Grace as Divine Light, Divine Love, Kundalini-Shakti, and/or the Multidimensional Lights within Consciousness.
Siva Also, Shiva. The Supreme Consciousnss of the Universe.
Soma See Amrita.

Transcendental Consciousness Pure consciousness, the Self; a consciousness or awareness which is beyond time and space.

Vasanas preconscious inclinations that create the structure and functioning of the mind; deeply rooted habit-patterns or psychological tendencies that go on to form conscious desires and actions; Samskaras

Vedanta Beyond all knowledge; transcendental wisdom.

Yoga Union; union with the Absolute.
