Rhythms of the Inner Shakti

Has anyone else noticed cyclical rhythms in their meditation?

My own practice for example, seems to have 2 phases: the outgoing and the ingoing. During outgoing there can be a variety of symptoms such as penetrating, dissolving, merging, integration, blissful burning sensations in the spine and on the skin, expansion, illumination. While in the transparency of the open heart different frequencies of love may manifest such a deep devotion, tender sweetness, a dark mysterious burning, the light of beauty ect.

At some point, the outgoing phase looses momentum and the entire field of manifestation begins to turn inward and disappears in pure emptiness, an ultra-pure transparency that is nevertheless fuzzy in that the mind cannot objectify it nor release it from perception. This emptiness, always unboundaried, nevertheless becomes vaster and purer with each of these cycles. It is of a sweet and cool flavor, and the mind is forcibly held there by a very intense magnetism exerted in being. At some point, the force releases and the attention can again emerge and return to the work of transforming the field of the known, expanding it and making it more transparent to the Awareness. This cycle used to take weeks to go around, now it takes only days, and during David’s transmission times it can repeat two or three times in one hour. Paradoxically, as the both poles of these cycles become profounder and more expansive, they also become closer. Will they merge and become One? David, I would love to hear your remarks.

Yes, they can merge into Oneness. Or, this mutual dissolution/expansion may continue.

Each person's process will tend to become increasingly unique, the deeper/higher you go into sadhana, so I hesitate to predict what your end state will look like.

Just allow it to go on naturally, until your mind reaches the Knowledge of the Heart, that all of this is your Heart: your Realized Self and your Active Shakti.

Shakti may drop off or remain in the end. You just don't know.

Namaste,

David
